The three offshoots of LittleBigPlanet are no longer playable online. This confirmed the responsible persons of the Spielerehe today on Twitter.
From permanent shutdown, both the PS3 versions of the first three parts as well as the offshoot are affected for the PS Vita. Thus, the developers want to ensure that the community continues to be protected and the online stay remains safe.
An exception is the PS4 version of Little Big Planet 3 . For this, Sumo Digital has published an update with the numbering 1.27, restoring the server. So now all created community levels are available again. The number is now over ten million levels. Among them are countless levels from the first two offshoots.
Level creations can not be uploaded
Nevertheless, some fans are sad because they can no longer experience part one and two as so far. Only the singleplayer campaigns are still available. Although new levels can still be created, but they can no longer upload them on a server and provide other players.
Because of several attacks on users, the servers had to be shut down in May this year. At that time it was said that this measure was only temporary. Allegedly, the players were sent to the players with vulgar content. The community, however, spoke of DDOS attacks on the servers because the polluter were not satisfied as Sony dealt with the LittleBigPlanet brand.
