We all use ourselves with something at a certain point of our life. Whether with rap music, a specific sport, Netflix series or video games. Such can become our obsession that sometimes we force ourselves to believe that we have to like everything , and that until the slightest expression of that area deserves to be lived in the first person.
But it's not always like this. My idyll with video games dates from that I have reason. I bought the magazines, saved for games and I spent almost all the free time devouring everything that has to do with them. Today I work writing about video games, and that is a double-edged gun : the justification that I have to play everything to be informed can make me reach a dangerous point as it is to generate rejection.
I can not enter all niches
Few groups of people have been as poured in the public opinion of the videogame as the fans of the musou . This genus of 1VS1000 has covered deeply, to the point of having a saga and study referent with it: Dynasty Warriors and Omega Force . With the launch of Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires , the first of the Saga in New Generation, I wanted to approach this niche and check what attracts so much to this amateur group of said experience. Maybe it's the delicious thing to be a quasidium in the battlefield, or your direct game can catch and give me a feeling similar to what I get with sports games and a background podcast.
But that's not what I felt. The game seemed rough, little polished and without too much Satisfactory Game Feel, especially when the latter should be its main trick to repeat combat mechanics to satiety. There is a lot of variety of characters, weapons and additional skills, but the basic blow, I can not find it solid enough to be the foundation of all the hours that stroke these titles.
Nor did the attention cradle the avalanche of menus that open in front of us in this empires. The idea is to give us the control of the army, but also of our territory, creating a scene of conquest of the times that are narrated in Dynasty Warriors. Although I value your desire to innovate in the genre, there are too many concepts and variables that are thrown into the player's face. It is the classic when more, the better.
This makes those who enjoy with him should leave the game? Not at all. Simply maybe it's not for me.
I'm not done to pass it wrong
A title has been in the public focus for a few days. MARTHA IS DEAD has jumped to the Palestra for its censorship on PlayStation platforms. The game of terror came a few weeks ago my mail in the form of Preview key. Although I am not a madman of the titles of this genre, he called me the pretext that his voices were in Italian and that he settled in just those convulsed years for the country.
However, the title is too disturbing so that it could follow and make a text about it. It exceeded the limits of what I can withstand . It is not that the scares make me scream like a madman, but the ambience and the psychologically oppressive of the title took me completely.
I was trying to give him cane, even asking me to give the final game because it really has merit that a work makes you feel like that, but just when the controversy exploded and saw things like those above which they were supposedly censored, my doubt was over. Of course it is "similar" to Mortal Kombat, but it is not the same.
The interactive factor asking for the game during these dispensions makes it much more suggestive emotionally, as well as Martha Is Dead lacks the mood of Mortal Kombat. Everything is measured to make you feel bad. The work is fantastic, because all art has to provoke feelings in their players, but it is not for me. And, again, I do not think that is a problem or that it must be censored. Simply, it's not what I'm looking for right now in a video game or I think I can give an interesting opinion of it in an analysis.
